About the Gallery

Who we are and what we do

The Gateway Art Gallery, home of the Art League of North Florida, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts organization based in downtown Lake City. The Gallery promotes the visual arts through exhibits, events, and art classes for both children and adults. Its mission is to inspire creativity, support artists, and strengthen community through the arts. In addition to offering the chance to purchase original art from local artists at a reasonable price, the Gallery works with local partners to bring art into public spaces and provides programs that engage all ages and skill levels. By fostering art, culture, and education in Lake City, the Gateway Art Gallery continues to enrich North Florida and invites the community to become members and help bring the arts to life.
